Registration
Early Registration: $75/player

Evaluation Dates
Saturday October 26th 9am-12pm
Tuesday October 29th 6pm-8pm
Only attending one evaluation is necessary.

Practices
Practices begin the week of November 11th.
Your child will have one practice a week on either: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Game Day
Games will be on Saturdays beginning on January 4th and go to February 22nd.
Why Upward?
1. Solid Basketball Fundamentals
Learn the essential skills of the game under the guidance of coaches. Teams will have a practice each week from December through February (excluding holiday break) along with a weekly game in the months of January and February.

2. Spiritual Development
During the weekly practices, teams will participate in coach-led devotionals that teach players how to grow in Christlikeness. Coaches are continually encouraged to set the example for the team in reflecting Christlikeness to the players.

3. Teamwork and Sportsmanship
Playing the game with a continual emphasis of teamwork & sportsmanship is a key aspect of Upward Basketball. Players are rewarded for these actions by being recognized in the postgame STAR presentations.

The purpose of Upward basketball is to challenge each participant's basketball skills while emphasizing sportsmanship and Christlikeness. Every game and practice present opportunities to push your limits while upholding the values that make sportsmanship truly shine. It requires a league wide effort and commitment from parents, coaches, referees, and players to achieve this ultimate goal.
