Senior Pastor Scott McKinney has been serving on staff at Cookeville First Baptist for 8 years. He is married to Christa, with 3 children; Taylor, Sam, and Laura Grace. Scott is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a passion for preaching and equipping the people of God to serve in the area they are gifted.

Executive Pastor

Executive Pastor Mike Head has been serving at Cookeville First Baptist for 22 years. He is married to Martha, and together they have 3 Children and 8 grandchildren. He is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. He is passionate about serving the Lord in the area of administration. Pastor Mike also loves to serve others by caring for the needs of the church both physically and spiritually.

Worship Pastor

Pastor Greg has been serving at Cookeville First Baptist for 5 years. He is married to Robin and their children are Annie and Jackson. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and Southeastern Seminary.  It is his joy to lead the church in worship each and every Sunday. 

Kids and Families Pastor

Pastor Phillip has been serving at Cookeville First Baptist for 4 years. He is married to Lauren with 3 kids: Jenny, Logan, and Daniel. He is a graduate of Regent University and Southeastern Seminary. He loves serving in kids ministry because it’s the foundation of discipleship.

Youth and College Pastor

Pastor Zack has been serving at Cookeville First Baptist for 3 years. He is happily married to Hannah with four boys: Evan, Hunter, Holden, and Ezra. He is a graduate of Union University and Southern Seminary. His calling and passion is to see young people engaged in discipleship and growing in Christ.
