Equipping People to help others find their place with God.

For the 2024 year, the staff has all come together to pray and seek God's will for our church. As we have prayed we feel God leading us to reach the community in three key ways this year: connection, discipleship, and service. Check out each of these descriptions and see how you can get involved this year!

The pastors were reminded of the words and example of Luke in Acts 2:42-47 in this vision:
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Connect

The Connect Team's mission is to enhance our connection with Cookeville and our church through three key avenues: community engagement, guest interactions, and fostering internal connections. This group is dedicated to organizing and participating in community events, establishing a welcoming first impressions connect team for guests, and curating events that bridge generational and cultural gaps within our church community.

Disciple

The disciple team desires to equip every church member for personal growth and gospel-sharing. While continuing to emphasize discipleship groups, we recognize the broader discipleship journey. This team will seek to increase church-wide connection with Sunday School, Equip Classes (formerly Sunday and Wednesday Night Groups), and Discipleship Groups. This team's goal is to expand Equip Classes and broaden the scope of Discipleship Groups, elevating our church community's discipleship. Commit to discipleship now - find groups, sign up for d-groups, and share your ideas for future Equip Classes through the links below!

Serve

We recognize that a serving church is a healthy church. Our focus for service is to identify more of a local mission presence in Cookeville, develop more missions partners, and effectively plan out mission trips for the future.
This group will seek to discover more opportunities to serve the greater Cookeville area, Engage new national and international partners, and offer training, planning, and preparation for future trips.
