FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
We are a downtown church so there is parking all around, just find your (parking) place! We have parking spots near the main entrance for guests and families with young children. You can also park in any lot adjacent to the church! If you can't find anything there, you can head to the big parking lot across Spring street.
WHERE DO I GO?
When you arrive, head to the covered entrance near the post office. From there, you can head up the stairs to the second floor and drop your kids off with our awesome kids ministry! Further into the second floor, you'll find our lobby where we have a welcome desk to help you find a small group. Right off the lobby is our Sanctuary where you can join us for worship!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Cookeville First Baptist has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up, some dressed casually. We have no expectations for attire.
WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?
We have special activities for children of all ages, but we also believe family worship is important as you seek to disciple your kids! If you have a child birth-Kindergarten, their classes will meet on the second floor right as you enter the building. There are check in locations here for you to get your security tag and you'll be able to drop your kids with their teachers! If you have a child 1st grade and up, they will join you in the service. Don't worry about any noise they may make - we're just glad they're here!
WHAT DOES THE SERVICE LOOK LIKE?
Our Sunday services offer engaging live worship and Biblical teaching that is relevant to everyday life. Take a look through our message archives to get a feel for what a service is like. Each service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes!
